Mountain Dew Sculpture Garden 2017
Local Long Beach artist Steven Harrington partnered up with Mountain Dew to bring four unique pieces of artwork to Dew Tour Long Beach for an enhanced skate experience.
The interactive course is a scaled-down, public-friendly layout designed and build by California Rampworks. It was located right in the thick of the action of Dew Tour Long Beach 2017, so you can watch your favorite pros drop in, turn around, and drop in yourself seconds later. Artist Steve Harrington has created a visual aesthetic for the entire event, but the public skate course is where it really stands out. Our crew got to bring his colorful icons to life, and make his series artwork into sculptures that are actually skateable!
After Dew Tour, the sculptures were donated to Silverado Skatepark where everyone could continue enjoy skateboarding in a creative aspect.
