What is Skatelite?

Skatelite is a super durable paper-composite material that is designed to stand up to the daily punishment inflicted by skateboards and BMX bikes

Skatelite products are made out of paper content derived from recycled and sustainably harvested forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®). Skatelite goes to great lengths to minimize its impact on the planet through its manufacturing process. It’s certified as a clean air manufacturer and uses an energy efficient WE (Waste to Energy) processes reduces natural gas consumption by 83% and captures, reuses waste in the paper drying process.

This is the surface we install in The Berrics, Shecklers, & P-Rod's Training Facility! We also use Skatelite Original with all of our X Games construction. It is specifcally designed for indoor use to withstand the abuse of skaters and BMX riders with perfect wear and traction. Custom printing available.

Available in Cardboard Brown   

Skatelite OCC uses the same resin compound and amount of Skatelite Pro. However it is a blend of 50% wood pulp and 50% recycled corrugated cardboard. Skatelite OCC is Richlites new green product for ramp surfacing with the same durability of Skatelite Pro.

The original Premium Outdoor product from Richlite is Skatelite Pro. CARampworks installs Skatelite Pro on all of our outdoor skateparks and ramps because this is the surface the Pros demand. Skatelite Pro withstands all abuses from professional skaters and bikers.
