CRW has had the privilege designing, building, and developing the worlds best competition skate and bmx courses alongside the worlds top athletes to meet the needs of an rapidly evolving action sports industry. One of our three courses we build exclusively for the X Games, the MegaRamp, has rose to the top viewer ratings. We are also creators of the Superpark and Street Course, once again, raising the bar on competition courses by offering the highest quality craftsmanship and detailing including concrete bowls, pool coping, and real tiles, granite slabs, and other key features. California Skateparks and California Rampworks have continued as Sheckler’s exclusive design/build company by developing Ryan’s dream park using a multi-level layout designed to maximize space in such a tight area. CRW has finally developed a way to affordably install concrete indoors without compromising the integrity of the surrounding building. This project has set the new bar for others to try and follow.
Feld Motor Sports

Specializing in FMX world tours and events, Feld Motorsports has come to CRW for the latest Metal Mulisha custom kickers and landing ramps that are strong, portable, easy to assemble, and pack tight to keep costs to a minimum. The ramps are designed using system scaffolding, and only the highest quality materials.

California RampWorks and California Skateparks have redefined the standard of event design and construction with the introduction of a new hybrid technique of engineering. Wood and steel substructures have been seamlessly infused with a concrete finished surface to create a product that not only is quick to assemble and efficient to ship, but adds the next generation of true street aesthetics and skatability.
The Maloof Money Cup is the richest skateboard contest on the planet, and requires the best builders in the world, which is why CRW was hired as the exclusive design/build company not only for 2008/09, but for expanded future venues such as NYC, Orange County, and Johannesburg, Africa for 2010!

Warner Brothers and ASA hosted an annual all-girl skateboard street and snowboard rail jam in Venice Beach, September, 2009. This event gave CRW a chance to shine utilizing their design teams diverse knowledge of the snowboard industry to design and build not only the girls street course, but a man-made snowboard rail jam tower. Brand new fully engineered and code approved VIP towers were also developed for this event.

CRW has developed an on-going relationship with the MTV Show Nitro Circus as a trusted builder to design and construct some of the most elaborate ramps and equipment for stunts for their show. As seen in a popular episode and used in many marketing promotions, the 8-story 60’ gap was an engineering feat. We keep several FMX kickers and landing ramps in our arsenal for stunt shows and events.

The Harmony Festival, a 30 year hippie festival in Santa Rosa, CA has embraced the skate community by introducing the mini-MegaRamp EcoCup contest. CRW has worked directly with the pros to design, test, and build a lightweight, portable, and cost-efficient MegaRamp assembly, that can be easily set-up quickly for festival type events, indoors or out. This event was so successful, we have booked several mini-Mega events around the world!

ASA is an action sports event production company with a global approach to action sports, producing events in 15 countries and television programming in 180 nations. ASA runs 15 separate tours around the world.

ASA Entertainment’s BMX Big-Air Triples event got its start in 2007 at the Phoenix stop of the Action Sports World Tour. A packed Jobing.com Arena witnessed top BMX riders like Anthony Napolitan, Ryan Guettler, Steve McCann slug it out on the Triples course. In the end it was a relative newcomer – San Diego’s own Dennis Enarson – who stole the show with big tricks like triple tailwhips, and even a triple tailwhip 360, taking home the victory. The event was something new for the riders and the crowd. A hybrid between a dirt jumping competition and a park competion, BMX Big-Air Triples brought something different to BMX. “It was so new and so fun, I think we all had a good time. There wasn’t really any pressure” said Enarson of the new format. This event was such a success for ASA that they are talking about a 15-stop tour in 2010! Don’t miss this event.

Danny Way has been the pioneer and driving force behind the evolution of the MegaRamp since day one. Danny is known for jumping the Great Wall of China, setting world records for speed, highest air, longest distances, and he continues to set new levels in the Skateboarding world. In conjunction with Quicksilver and DC, Danny is building brand new interconnected street spots and a one of a kind MegaRamp set-up in his backyard designed for events and uniquely geared towards the aesthetics of filming. With our expertise, Danny has trusted us to design and build these epic facilities.

All Wheels Extreme was founded in 1995, evolving from the active sports and entertainment industries. Their goal is to continue to create alternative forms of entertainment using a variety of sports including BMX bikes, in-line skating, skateboards, dancers and specialty gymnastic acts. CRW has provided the expertise in design and construction of the equipment used at stunt shows all summer inside theme parks around the country. The upmost care in the design and safety were considered to withstand the wear and tear this event equipment sees at the 15 shows per week they endure.

The City of San Bernardino, CA was not only building a brand new California Skateparks facility in their town, but went the extra mile and hired CRW to bring in some portable equipment to help feed excitement and celebrate the coming of a new skate spot. This simple street set-up is one of many custom designs we can offer with super-fast assembly, sound construction, and reliable delivery for small events and contests.

The Boys at DC Shoes have decided it was time to remodel the training facility at the DC Headquarters in Southern California. California RampWorks has designed a new dream Vert ramp with Danny Way, Colin McKay, Jake Brown and PLG. With the help of Monster Energy, this new training facility will be premiered in many videos and publications as new tricks are continuously birthed. We are also in the design phases of a new indoor concrete street plaza.
